It was 8 p.m. almost a month ago when I was waiting at the bus stop. I was tired, and sick of a relationship with a 22-year-old guy which had no romanticism–just sex. At that hour, like usual, I thought there would be insane people on the bus. There were. But there was also a guy who was so beautiful and fascinating. He started to giggle at me so I did the same. After a few minutes I sat in front of him.
We started to talk and he said that I was cute, then asked me if I was engaged or not, to which I replied, “sort of.” At the end of the journey the only thing I knew about him was his name. I was so angry at myself but at the same time I was incredibly happy because it had been the best date of my life, and I hope one day I will see him again.
What I loved most of the “bus-date” is that it was so unexpected. It made me understand that in life you’ll never know when you’ll be so close to getting a great chance at love, or something else. Next time I’m sure I will not lose a chance like that again.
